Ball Nose Router Bits are an upcut router with a radius on the end of the cutter. These are excellent for producing contours in CNC applications. CNC machinists can produce contoured surfaces as the round cutting edge can be moved tangentially to the curve being produced. Ball Nose Cutters can be used for producing rounded grooves and door profiles.

The HSK63F Chuck is a steep taper tool holder design for high precision routing. The 1:10 taper shank must be connected to HSK 63F compatible spindle receivers. HSK receivers incorporate segmented collects which expand radially under draw bar pressure to bear against the inner wall of the shank. This causes firm metal to metal contact as well as mating the shank's flange with the receiver.

The clamping pressure on the shaft is generated by an end cap with three hex head bolts.

Used for slotting and grooving with clean entry and exit holes. Uses replaceable knives:

• 14 x 14 x 2.0 T10MG Turn Over Knife
• 15 x 12 x 1.5 T10MG Turn Over Knife

Comes with shims to adjust width of groove.

The hogging cutterhead is perfect for fast material removal. The 40mm diameter and 30mm cutting depth allows large sections of material to be removed very quickly.

The two outer knives of the cutterhead do the majority of the work and the centre knife assists in plunging. The two types of knives are: 

• 30 x 12 x 1.5 Four Edge TOKs (outer x 2)
• 12 x 12 x 1.5 Four Edge TOKs (inner x 1)

It machines in a similar fashion to a surface planing router bit and leaves a smooth surface finish. The two outer knives protrude down further than the middle knife.
