Description: Details

The single flute (O-flute) alluminium cutter is designed for optimum chip clearance and leaves a mirror finish. Up cut refers to the direction of the flute. As the router bit grooves, pockets and mills, the chips are forced upwards.

This cutter also uses micro-fine DLC coating for improved performance.

The Diamond Like Carbon (DLC) Coating increases the life of the tool.

It increases the micro-hardness of the surface to 5000HV.

It has excellent smoothness which reduces friction and consequently heat when machining. This is incredibly important when working with metals to prevent chips from welding to the tool edge. The coating has a thickness of only 2-3 microns.
