Roughing router bits remove excess material during nesting applications, this allows for a finishing cutter to remove the remaining onion skin leaving a superb finish.

Compression cutters combine both and up cut and down cut spirals to force chips into the centre of the panel. The inwards pressure prevents chipping on either surface.

Two flute router bits have a smooth cutting action and a greater finish in harder materials.

This material is capable of cutting Softwood and hardwood, chipboard, MDF, plywood, duromers, plastomers, mineral materials (Corian, etc.).

Feed rate: 10-30m/min

Feed rates change depending on the depth of the cut and the diameter of the tool. Poor finish can occur if your tool is run too quickly or too slowly. It is important to optimise your tooling speed dependant on your job.
